Nurturing a sustainable future for Nature and People in the UK and Kenya

How we work to restore ecosystems...

Community Engagement

Collaborating with local communities for impactful restoration efforts.

Sustainable Practices

Implementing eco-friendly methods in all our projects.

Resilient Ecosystems

Fostering biodiversity through indigenous tree planting.

Nurture in the Wild has made significant strides in reforesting degraded lands, working hand-in-hand with local organisations to restore indigenous flora. Our collaborative efforts have proven valuable in preserving Kenya’s unique biodiversity, enhancing habitats for wildlife, and engaging communities in environmental stewardship.

Since our inception, we have established valuable partnerships with various Community-Based Organizations. Through initiatives like the Miti Maalum Programme, Women in the Wild and Kakamega Rainsforest Restoration Project, we empower individuals to contribute directly to forest restoration, encouraging a personal connection to nature while combating climate change and promoting ecological balance across our regions of operation.

Women in the Wild

Based in the Maasia Mara, this community initiative has wide outreach and diverse impacts from tree planting to wider education.

Kakamega Rainforest Restoration

Based in the only rainforest in Kenya, this restoration programme is fighting to save indigenous trees and enable communities to relearn the value of trees.

Support for Forest Schools

The best education happens beyond the classroom. We support the creation and development of outdoor spaces in the UK and abroad to enable children to thrive.
